Academy Cohort Mentor Application

MTSS Leadership Academy Cohort Mentors support small groups of participants through reflection, application, and leadership growth.

Ideal Mentors:

  • Experienced MTSS district or school leaders

  • Implementation specialists and technical assistance providers

  • Consultants aligned with the National Center of MTSS (American Institutes for Research - AIR)

Mentor Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate small‑group discussions

  • Provide feedback on leadership artifacts related to MTSS

  • Support application to participants’ local contexts

  • Attend mentor onboarding and monthly mentor support sessions

Benefits of Serving as a Mentor:

  • Leadership recognition through IMA

  • Expanded professional network

  • $2,500 stipend for time and program support

  • Priority consideration for future IMA initiatives
