Before there was IMA, there were students who challenged our thinking, families who trusted us, colleagues who worked beside us, mentors who encouraged us, and leaders who gave us opportunities to grow.

As IMA enters Year Two, our Founding Board is reaching back to 100 people who have been part of our journeys—and inviting them to help build what comes next.

FROM AN IDEA TO MOVEMENT
In Year One, IMA set out to build something education needed: an independent nonprofit association bringing educators, researchers, leaders, and partners together around evidence—and around every learner.
And people showed up.
2,500+ members. A community reaching 40+ countries. 100+ advisors. 30+ partners. Hundreds of educators and leaders gathered for our inaugural Global Summit. More than $450,000 raised to launch the work.
In one year, an idea became a growing international community.
We launched new professional learning and leadership opportunities, connected respected voices across disciplines, created new pathways for collaboration, and began tackling one of education’s most persistent challenges:
Turning what we know into what students actually experience.
Year One proved what is possible. The Founders’ 100 will help us build what comes next.
