Reviewer Guidelines
Purpose
Peer review ensures the quality, relevance, and scholarly integrity of IJMI publications. Reviews are double-blind and emphasize constructive feedback to strengthen manuscripts.
Expectations
Reviewers will:
Evaluate clarity of purpose, theoretical grounding, and research rigor
Assess methods, data interpretation, and contribution to the MTSS and leadership fields
Comment on writing clarity, structure, and adherence to APA style
Provide actionable recommendations within 3 weeks of assignment
Ethical Standards
Maintain confidentiality of manuscript contents
Decline reviews in cases of conflict of interest
Provide fair, objective, and respectful feedback
